PMBA DYNAMIC DUO

PMProgetti was the first Italian Company who has understood the importance of Business Analysis and the IIBA since 2008, when we realized that in order to increase the project performances you cannot simply improve the competencies and skills of Project Managers and the organization maturity in Project Management, but you need also to provide the Project Manager with an operating and skilled support during the project.

The Dynamic Duo approach was presented by Michele Maritato in 2012 at PMI Emea Congress in Marseille. Business Analysis provide value to the project Before, with a clear Strategy Analysis process that define the right solution and justify the value, During, by moving the requiremeents to the project in a clear way, giving the right prioritization and allocation, After, when the project is over the Business Analyst has to measure the 'real' value provided by the implemented solution and make the decision accordingly.

For this reason we believe that the best approach is to create a "peer" relationship between the Project Manager and the Business Analyst, and establish some mechanisms to regulate the interaction between these two roles. These machanisms can be defined by integrating the Pmbok Guide and the Babok Guide. How? Have a look below, and you'll get it!

On the right side of this page we report the vision of PMI in a poster published in 2015.

But how to make the PMBA approach for your projects?
